The Seagull is a two-in-one analog filter pedal that recreates the expressive 'seagull' effect associated with Pink Floyd's Echoes and also delivers a full range of fixed cocked-wah tones. It turns your guitar's own controls into part of the effect, creating vocal, pitch-like sweeps and focused vintage midrange textures.

Level, fine Frequency control and three Sweep ranges work in both modes, while the footswitch supports normal latching or press-and-hold momentary operation. Pair cocked wah with fuzz, overdrive or distortion to cut through a mix, or combine Seagull mode with long delay and lush reverb for dramatic, otherworldly sound design.

“Relic” Seagull details

Two modes
Seagull mode creates pitch-like filter movement controlled from the guitar. Cocked Wah mode provides fixed wah-filter tones with strong vintage midrange.

Controls
Level sets output, Frequency fine-tunes the filter and the three-position Sweep switch selects the working range. The mode switch selects Cocked Wah or Seagull.

Momentary or latching
Press and release quickly for standard on/off switching, or hold the footswitch for momentary engagement and release to bypass.

Seagull setup

  • Use passive pickups and place no buffered-bypass pedal between the guitar and Seagull.
  • Turn guitar volume fully up, then use the guitar tone control to change pitch. Pickup selection changes the fundamental frequency. Long delay and reverb enhance the effect.
