The WaterFall Bass is a rich, three-dimensional analog BBD chorus and vibrato that adds movement and width while keeping bass lines musical and defined. Its warm, fluid response moves naturally from subtle dimension to deep chorus, expressive vibrato and fast rotary-style textures.

Choose Chorus or Vibrato, then switch between restrained and more pronounced modulation to fit the arrangement. Depth and Speed offer a broad, responsive range, while an internal trimmer sets the maximum rate. Whether used as a gentle always-on widener or a dramatic performance effect, the WaterFall Bass makes modulation feel organic rather than processed.

John Achenbach is a Storyboard Artist and Animation Professional with a long history on the legendary show “The Simpsons” and a guitarist/musician. The “Achenbach Series” is the result of a loving friendship that has developed through the years out of mutual respect for what each of us does!

About WaterFall Bass:

Analog BBD modulation
The analog BBD circuit creates warm, fluid movement with depth and space while retaining the bass's
core character.

Chorus and Vibrato
The C/V toggle selects chorus or vibrato. A second +/- toggle selects subtle or more pronounced modulation.

Wide performance range
Depth sets intensity and Speed sets rate. Maximum settings produce rotary-speaker-style movement.

Internal range control
An internal trimmer adjusts the maximum modulation speed.
