About the “Achenbach Series”:

John Achenbach is a Storyboard Artist and Animation Professional with a long history on the legendary show “The Simpsons” and a guitarist/musician. The “Achenbach Series” is the result of a loving friendship that has developed through the years out of mutual respect for what each of us does!

Rare NOS transistors
Built from the same rare batch of early-1960s NOS silicon transistors used in its limited predecessor, giving the circuit its distinctive warmth and response.

Two frequency voices
Scooped mode focuses the low end and increases octave prominence. Full-range mode delivers broader, harmonically rich lead tones.

Two clipping options
Select asymmetrical or symmetrical clipping to adjust feel, tightness and dynamics.

Controls
Level sets output, Tone shapes the frequency balance and Gain controls fuzz intensity.
