The Rattler ltd. is a handwired, limited-edition distortion built around the exceptionally rare NOS LM308AH metal-can chip for authentic vintage character with modern clarity and response. Carbon-composition resistors, tropical-fish capacitors, point-to-point wiring and a faux-leather enclosure make each unit as special physically as it is sonically.

Its symmetrical clipping is smoother and slightly less aggressive than the standard Rattler, while a low-gain mode opens the circuit into more harmonically rich, overdrive-like textures. Responsive with single coils, humbuckers and pedal steel, it moves naturally from transparent preamp-style push to massive, singing distortion.

Rare component set
The core voice comes from an NOS LM308AH metal-can op-amp, supported by carbon-composition resistors, tropical-fish capacitors and point-to-point wiring.

Two gain ranges
The toggle selects high gain to the right and lower gain to the left. Low-gain mode is more open, less compressed and closer to overdrive.

Smooth symmetrical clipping
Symmetrical clipping gives the Rattler ltd. a smoother, less hairy response than the standard model while retaining full-range authority.

Controls
Level sets output, Tone shapes the response and Gain controls saturation.
